Enjoy Your Work
I want to share with you some of the ways that I enjoy working. I enjoy time investment; I enjoy making my client feel important; I enjoy being an eyeball-to-eyeball salesman, and I have fun taking inventory of my own attitudes in the business.
I don’t have any time to spend, but I do have time to invest. I don’t have any money to spend, but I do have money to invest. So, as we get into the spending of time and money or the investing of time and money, we want to be careful that we have good time and money management procedures.
As you begin your life journey, the clock is ticking and time is finite and will continue with or without your using it. What I mean by this is that you cannot buy time backwards. However, you can use time forwards and therefore this precious commodity can be used by you to achieve your goals and dreams.
Similarly, if you don’t have money, you may yearn for it, and if you do have money, you need to use it wisely to achieve your goals and dreams.
Everybody’s time management differs so your personal timeline is dictated by you but is influenced by everything around you. Successful usage of these two tools will determine the degree of success or failure on your journey.
Being successful in your chosen field / career requires you to believe, to trust, to be honest, and to care about yourself and others.
It is important to create your opportunities and to act now. Do not procrastinate…do not delay…and most of all do not believe that you will come back to it in the future as the chances are that you won’t.
Being the best you can be is based on who you are, where you are, and how you go about presenting yourself to the world. Successful people take the first step, make themselves stand out from the crowd, offer something a little different, and carry on carrying on.
No-one individual is 100% perfect. Life is therefore all about using your positive skills and minimising your weaknesses by employing such tactics as working with others in a team who complement your skills, or by networking in groups, or by specialising in a particular field and focusing on that activity. For example, an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hands, or a salesman that specialises in coffee.
Believing in yourself makes other people believe in you too. It adds fun to your life by giving you confidence and generosity. Going the extra mile in service and delivery often leads to more success.
