Whole Persons, guided by a code of ethics, work to become more productive, pursue knowledge and skills throughout their careers, and participate in and contribute to industry and professional organizations.

Career
According to Wikipaedia the Career is an individual, metaphorical journey through learning, work, and other aspects of life. There are a number of ways to define Career and the term is used in a variety of ways which include a definition (and can be specific to your chosen career), Career management, Career choice, Career support, and Career success measurement.
Kindly refer to the attachment for more details with the specific intention of composing your own “Career Plan”.
This Career Plan will become a working template to be used in your “Whole of Life” plan and your “Whole of Life” portfolio.
Nothing happens in life without you taking the first step on your journey of life. As with all matters that humans have to deal with, it is important that you learn and inform yourself about what it is that YOU wish to achieve with YOUR life. So by researching your goals and objectives, you will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses. By doing this every day you will improve your knowledge and capability and be able to make informed decisions which affect your future.
Therefore, a Whole Person begins the journey by making an informed decision about their future Career and how to go about it. Always work on Plan A only to ensure 100% application, dedication, and loyalty to the task. Plan B should only be used in the event of a fundamental change in your life – for example, being paralysed in an accident.
By focusing on this process, your enthusiasm and joy of life will be fulfilled and you will look forward to each and every day in your future. There is no right or wrong, there is only “I can if I try my very best.” Imagine your dreams. Be smart. Learn smart. Act smart. Start your journey. The earlier you begin to train your brain, the more likely you are to succeed.
If You Think You Can -You Can!
In the context of career choice, this is all about ‘EGO…Id’. You are an individual and unique and therefore whatever plans you make are yours and yours alone.
Most of us have all the basic faculties such as hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, and brains that can absorb knowledge. What is Knowledge? It is the accumulation of experience of all your ancestors over the centuries of human life on planet earth. By acquiring the knowledge of life you will equip yourself with skills, beliefs, abilities, and a zest for life. The trick is to co-ordinate a knowledge skillset that will point you in the direction of your Life Goals.
It is not about the money. It is not about the joys of life. It is not about your faith in God. It is not about what your neighbour has. “It is indeed all about you.”
So ask yourself, “Who am I?” “Who do I want to be?” “How do I achieve what I want to be?” “When do I want to be who and what I want to be?”
When you have asked and answered these questions, you will have taken the first step of the rest of your life…..and the journey begins.
Goal setting is vital. Set the goal. It must be achievable. Decide what your Big Dream is. Read, talk, ask questions about your chosen path. Your teachers, your parents, your minister, your rabbi, your imam, will all be able to help you create and live your dream with ideas and opportunities to achieve success. The earlier, younger and quicker you are in starting this process, the greater the chances of success.
The journey will last your whole life. You never stop learning. The more you see, the more you learn. The more you hear, the more you learn. Your brain is capable of amazing things and you will never exceed its capacity to learn.
Mankind has created a Code of Conduct which comes down to behaviour. There is a moral and ethical code of conduct which, if you apply it to your life, will bring you longlasting joy and fulfilment.
It is not about the Money. Success should be measured by You against You and not against others.
Careers are man-made and each generation experiences fantastic new opportunities that were not available to your parents and grandparents For example, IT and telecommunications has exploded in the past few decades. Being a pilot today will most likely mean an astronaut pilot tomorrow. Being a medical doctor today might also require you to be a medical technician tomorrow as the world moves into massive technological breakthroughs such as working real-life artificial limbs, hearts, eyes, ears, and maybe even brains.
So ask yourself, Who am I? Who would I like to be? How do I achieve my goals?
Take the first step of your journey to success. One thing is guaranteed – time stands still for no-one. Do not procrastinate. Be joyous, be positive, walk forward with confidence and determination.
As you grow, so will your ideas. The journey may be difficult with many deviations and challenges.
Never give up….don’t worry…..be happy.
“If you think you can, you can.”
